December 2009:
Happy Holidays to all of Village Townhomes. As the year comes to a close, I would like to remind everyone that we will not have a meeting in December. This has been a busy year for the VTH. We added coverage for the property to fight back against some of the disruptive teenagers. As a result, we have seen a sharp decrease in problems. We completed the roofing project with great success. As a result of this big expense, the board will cease much of the spending. The only other impending project is to install security lights on the ends of the carports to deter trouble makers from loitering. As always, we look to the residents to communicate with the board for any problem areas that need attention. The association has terminated its contract with Terra Verde for landscaping. We have contracted a new company for the lawn service, and Reynaldo's crew will take over the maintenance of the shrubs and landscaping in front of the homes. We expect this will to a better overall look of the grounds. We also encourage all homeowners to please complete and return their ballots for the upcoming elections as soon as you receive them. Meeting quorum is essential. Whenever possible, we welcome all homeowners to attend our montlhy board meetings to make sure your voice is heard and to get updated on the association's current issues. We, the board, wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season and a wonderful new year!
